Alaina Ray is a 17-year-old singer with dynamic vocal range, confident delivery and an exceptional ability to put her own flair on popular covers of all genres. Her gritty, raspy tone captivates her audience. After beginning vocal lessons at 9 years old, Alaina has been dedicated to creating opportunities for herself. She created a local band where she was showcased in venues like the Hard Rock Cafe, Topsfield Fair, The Raven, UnchArted and the Northeast Youth Music and Arts Festival, where she was awarded the most hardworking and passionate musical act based on an online vote.
Alaina has spent the last few years, writing new songs and gaining experience performing them on many stages. She participated in the All You Got Tour in 2018 and 2019, which has given her unique performance opportunities.
She has recently began collaborating with
guitarist Reese Gardner this past summer, after meeting him on the tour. They will be performing together on November 27th at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA at 9PM.
She continues to challenge herself with choosing songs that blend between mainstream and indie pop alternative. When writing an original song, Alaina dives in delicately balancing her emotional state, sweet yet raspy vocal tone and remarkable delivery. It is so cool to see how Alaina has transitioned into a music genre that she fits so well in.

"Alaina has steered her own direction, captures the audience with her smokey and breathy tone, and makes you feel the emotion from the song's first words. Her original music expands deeply on life's emotions and relationships and she can easily transfer that energy to the audience as if they are living it with her."-Artists on the Move
