Giuliana Amaral joins Led Zeppelin Tribute Band Heartbreaker as lead singer

Giuliana Amaral stepped in last minute to fill in on vocals in a recent show for the band Heartbreaker and is now the band’s lead vocalist. Her musical ability, performance resume and high energy and passion for the band’s Led Zeppelin cover music flew open the door for the new opportunity.

Heartbreaker is an award-winning tribute band and 2016 Limelight Magazine winner of "New England’s Best Led Zeppelin tribute band”. Giuliana was nominated for the 2020 Limelight Music Awards for “Female Vocalist of the Year”, and also one of her band’s, Band, Inc., was nominated for “Top Cover Band” for the 2020 Worcester Music Awards (voting remains open until 3/31/2020). Giuliana also has a rock band project with the recently formed band Legacy, a band focused on releasing new original rock music. The band’s debut single, “Midnight Rider” was recorded at Red13 Studios and is scheduled to be released in late spring. In February the band performed in the Young Performers Club Grand Finale Qualifier at the Boston Hard Rock Cafe and qualified as a finalist in their top annual event.

Heartbreaker has many shows booked in 2020 at south shore venues including Venus III and New World Tavern, and has rocked southern NH for over a decade with three-hour plus sets packed with Led Zeppelin precision and fire. Their set lists cover the entire catalogue of Led Zeppelin albums, and there is no doubt die-hard fan and Zeppelin worshiper Giuliana already knows most of the band’s full set list. Her favorite pastime is visiting local record shops to add to her Zeppelin collection. She brings the aura and feeling to every performance adding her own Zeppelin style to each show. During the Corona virus quarantine period Giuliana has been doing live watch parties for her fans, with many packed with her favorite Zeppelin covers.

It is more uncommon to find female-fronted Led Zeppelin bands, but that didn't deter Giuliana from stepping on stage to perform a song or two for Led Zeppelin tribute bands that toured through New England. Giuliana's first Heartbreaker show as the lead vocalist is on May 2, at Venus III in Hanson, MA. She joins a band with over 120 combined years of top notch musicianship, and relentless passion for one of the world’s best-loved rock bands.
